A Better Winnetka

The Caucus Survey is out and must be returned by Friday, September 26th! It has been mailed to residents and every household should have received it by now. If you have not received a survey, contact the Winnetka Caucus at caucus@winnetkacaucus.org .

It is important for every voting-age resident of Winnetka to complete the survey because the results are often used to guide the policies of Winnetka’s four governmental entities/districts: Village, Park, School and Library. The consequence of not completing and returning the survey is that your thoughts are likely to remain just that—your thoughts, and they will be unavailable to help shape policy development.

The survey is developed annually by the Caucus Council who are volunteer representatives from the Caucus. Every voting-age resident of Winnetka is automatically a member of the Caucus. The Council’s duty is to slate candidates for Village Boards, develop the annual Caucus Survey and Village platforms and annually, host two Town Meetings.
