No Referendum in 2009 for New Trier Renovations

On October 27, 2008 a Special Facilities Workshop was held by the New Trier Board of Education. Due to community input and concern that all options had not been fully explored, the Board decided to spend more time studying the design specifics and alternatives for the Winnetka Campus as well as potential renovations to the B building on the Northfield Campus. The Board also stated that this project should be reflective of a 30-year, long-range plan for the facilities on both campuses. In addition, they agreed to delay the possibility of a referendum until 2010. A field house at Winnetka and replacement pool at Northfield are potential construction projects that will be considered separately.
